June 2024 at Castaway Play in Congleton is set to be an exciting month with a series of meet and greets that feature some of the most iconic characters from children’s television and books. Each weekend, families have the opportunity to meet characters as they come out at various times throughout the day to greet and interact with the children.
The month starts with a prehistoric adventure as the Jurassic-themed meet and greet takes place on both Saturday, June 1st, and Sunday, June 2nd. Children will have the chance to encounter dinosaur characters, adding a dash of the ancient world to their weekend.
On June 8th, the playful and mischievous Minions will make an appearance. The following day, June 9th, the Teletubbies – loved by toddlers – will provide a colourful experience for the youngest visitors.
Mid-June brings a delightful mix of fantasy and fun. On Saturday, June 15th, the Gruffalo will wander out of the deep dark wood to meet the children alongside Cocomelon JJ. The following day, the popular Scooby Doo and Shaggy will interact with fans on June 16th.
The following weekend, on June 22nd, Postman Pat and Fireman Sam will offer greetings and fun, sharing their tales of community service and bravery. The next day, June 23rd, brings a touch of Disney magic with Goofy and Pluto.
June concludes with more high-energy encounters. On Saturday, June 29th, Sonic and Tails will zoom in from their high-speed adventures to say hello, and on Sunday, June 30th, Stitch and Angel from “Lilo & Stitch” will provide a heartwarming island-style welcome.
