When entering Castaway Play Limited you are fully accepting and agreeing to abide by the Rules of Play and Terms and Conditions.

Customer Booking Terms

    Customer agrees to the following terms and conditions by booking with Castaway Play Ltd:

    ONCE TICKETS ARE BOOKED, RESERVATIONS CANNOT BE REFUNDED, BUT MAY BE TRANSFERRED TO A DIFFERENT DATE FOR AN ADMIN FEE OF £2.50, IF AT LEAST 24 HOURS NOTICE IS GIVEN BEFORE YOUR VISIT. PLEASE EMAIL [email protected] IF YOU NEED TO DO THIS.

    You are agreeing to these terms and conditions by proceeding with this booking.

    Tickets are subject to a £1.50 booking fee (applied at checkout).

    Food and Drink

    Only food and drink purchased at Castaway Play can be consumed on the premises. No birthday cakes to be bought on site, unless you have an official party room reservation.

    Age Range and Supervision

    Suggested suitable age range of our facility 0-10 years of age.

    All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult carer, who must remain within the building at all times. Carers have full responsibility for children in their care for the duration of their visit.

    Children should not be carried on the shoulders of adults or carers.

    On entering Castaway Play carers must:

    • Accept full responsibility to supervise their children and group at all times
    • Observe their children to ensure that they are capable of using the equipment safely
    • Explain these rules of play to the children and monitor their behaviour.

    Clothing and Play Area Rules

    Socks must be worn at all times and shoes when accessing the 1st floor level equipment, outside play areas & all slides.

    No jumping in to the ball pools. Please be aware that soft play balls can temporarily be on floor areas around soft play and it is your responsibility to be aware of the surroundings.

    No climbing on or jumping from any furniture within Castaway Play.

    You must adhere to the safety and operational instructions on signs next to each play equipment and play area, we want you to have fun and play safely.

    The sports area is for children aged 3 and over only and children must be supervised at all times. Balls must be kept within the basketball and football areas only. Shoes must be worn at all times in this area. Any participants riding on the sleighs must remain seated at all times and feet and arms.

    Seating, Toilets and Facilities

    A range of seating is provided around Castaway for guests, please ensure that children are safely seated and facing the correct way at all times. Tables are to be used for dining only.

    Nappy changing and the use of potties etc, must be conducted in the toilets and nappies disposed of in the bins provided.

    Accidents, Injuries and Risks

    Castaway Play Ltd cannot be held responsible for any injury incurred whilst using these facilities.

    Any accident or injury occurred whilst on the premises, MUST be reported at the time to a member of the Castaway Play Ltd team.

    IMPORTANT INFORMATION: There are inherent risks associated with children playing together and moderate physical activity. These include children being exposed to tripping or bumping into objects and other children. Through design, maintenance and the operation of our facility, we have taken every reasonable step to control these risks. However it is impossible to eliminate these risks completely and parents and guardians must recognise and accept these risks when visiting our centre and using our play facilities.

    CCTV, Lighting and Seasonal Events

    For child protection reasons we have CCTV in operation.

    The disco room contains flashing lights and may not be suitable for photosensitive epilepsy.

    During our seasonal events, animals may be present on site, specific health & safety signage will be present and must be adhered to at all times. We recommend pregnant visitors, anyone in age groups that are more vulnerable to infection: young, elderly, pregnant / nursing women, and those with existing medical conditions avoid touching any animals and wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after visiting animals, before easting, drinking, or touching your face.

    1. GENERAL TERMS
    • By entering Castaway Play you are agreeing to abide by Castaway’s Play Policy, copies of which can be found in the reception of our play centre prior to admission.
    • When placing a booking through our booking system, the customer has agreed to the terms and conditions of Castaway Play.
    • All tickets not to be sold or passed on to any third party.
    • Tickets are sold on the understanding that no money in respect of unused tickets will be reimbursed.
    • The Castaway Space Sensory room is only available on a pre booking basis. Use of this room is not included within ANY admission charges.
    • Lost children and lost items should be reported to the admission kiosk.
    • Our inclusive play policy is in place to allow everybody to have fun in a safe environment.
    • Customers who do not abide by the rules will be asked to leave.
    • You consent for us to keep your personal information for insurance reasons. This will not be shared with any other company for marketing reasons.
    • Only food and drinks purchased at Castaway Play can be consumed on the premises.
    • Tickets / booking ID to be shown on entry.
    • We reserve the right to close the play centre early. Please see our social media channels to avoid disappointment.
    • Please show common courtesy to fellow guests and our staff by not using profanity or engaging in unsafe, illegal, disruptive or offensive behaviour.
    • Parents and guardians are responsible for the supervision and behaviour of their children at all times. Guests under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or older to enter the play centre.
    • Older children (over 2) are not permitted to enter the baby or toddler area’s at any time, not even to supervise younger children.
    • Please supervise your children at all times. Castaway Play staff are not provided to supervise children.
    • Only children under the age of 2 years are allowed in the toddler area with adult supervision required at all times.
    • In the event you have a problem or any concerns, please talk to the manager or a member of staff.
    • If Castaway Play is unable to open, due to circumstances outside of its control, then we will offer an alternative admission date to the same value as your original booking.
    • We reserve the right to close the play frame, slides and remove equipment from use during our trading hours for any reason, without compensation.
    • Occasionally Castaway or other authorised parties may carry out photography and retain the right to use images for advertising. You further agree that copyright of these images lie with Castaway Play Ltd.
    • Please ensure you and your guests park responsibly and safely.
    • Management accepts no responsibility for vehicles or their contents, which are left entirely at the owners risk.
    • We reserve the right to deny admission, or to require a person already admitted to leave the centre, without refund, liability or compensation if we consider that the circumstances so require.
    • We reserve the right to discount event prices at any time.
    • Term time relates to both Cheshire and Staffordshire school holidays.
    • Assist dogs are most welcome.

    2. PARTY BOOKINGS, PAYMENTS AND DEPOSISTS
    • An initial non-refundable deposit is required on all party bookings. Payment must be made in full no later than 7 days before your party.
    • Failing to make payment within the requested time for party bookings (as set out below), will result in the reservation being cancelled.
    • Final numbers for the party must be confirmed no later than 7 days before the party.
    • All children and adults attending the party booking must be registered and paid for in advance of the party.
    • If you have not paid the balance 7 days before the party, the party will not go ahead and any deposit will be lost.
    • Once final numbers have been confirmed and paid for, we are unable to offer individual refunds if party guests do not attend on the day.
    • All party bookings will receive an automated confirmation email as soon as the deposit is paid from the Castaway Play Book my party online booking system.
    • Please check your email including your spam mailbox. If you have not received an email, please contact us.
    • If you need to move your party, then this can be done for no charge up to 14 days prior to the day of the party booking.
    • If you need to move your party and it is within 14 days and no later than 72 hours before the party start time, we charge an additional adjustment fee of £25.
    • Parties cannot be moved less than 72 hours before the party start time, the party will have to be cancelled and we will refund any payments received to date in excess of the non-refundable deposit amount.
    • All parties that are moved to a new date, can only be moved to a party package that is currently available and will be charged at the advertised rate at the time of the new booking. The payments received to date will be transferred to the new booking as a credit. Standard deposit and payment terms and conditions apply.
    • We do not allow third party entertainers to attend parties at Castaway Play. Customers must notify us in advance of the party if they have a special request.
    • We allow one adult per child invited to the party. Extra adults and children not invited must be booked in and paid for prior to the day.
    • We do not allow customer decorations to be put up in the party rooms. Customers must notify us in advance of the party if they have a special request with regards to the decoration of the party rooms.
    • Children are free to enjoy the play facilities under supervision of the accompanying adults. There must be a minimum of 1 adult for every 5 children.
    • All adults should familiarise themselves with Castaway’s play policy and the locations of fire exits, first aid procedures and toilets.
    • Please note, older children are not permitted to supervise or play with younger children in the soft play area’s. It is for children aged 2 and under.
    • 10 minutes before the end, party children will be required to collect belongings from the party room. Parents must accompany children to reception and exit the building. Children must not re-enter Castaway Play when the party is over unless they re-register for a general admission ticket at the reception and availability allows. Terms and conditions apply.

    3. COMPANY RIGHTS
    • By booking a party or general admission ticket at Castaway Play Ltd you are agreeing to the above terms and conditions.
