When entering Castaway Play Limited you are fully accepting and agreeing to abide by the Rules of Play, Terms and Conditions and COVID-19 policies.

  • By entering Castaway Play you are agreeing to abide by Castaway’s Play Policy, copies of which can be found in the reception of our play centre prior to admission.
  • Our inclusive Play Policy is in place to allow everybody to have fun in a safe environment.
  • Customers who do not abide by the rules will be asked to leave.
  • You consent for us to keep your personal information for insurance reasons and COVID-19 policies. This will not be shared with any other company for marketing reasons. Your information will however be used to inform NHS test and trace if needed.
  • Only food and drinks purchased at Castaway Play can be consumed on the premises.
  • Please do not enter the play centre before your allotted time slot. If you arrive early please wait in your car until your start time.
  • We also kindly ask that your leave promptly at the end of your session in order for us to clean and prepare for the next session.
  • Tickets to be shown on entry.
  • We reserve the right to close the play centre early. Please see our website or Facebook page for updates or call ahead to avoid disappointment.
  • Please show common courtesy to fellow guests and our staff by not using profanity or engaging in unsafe, illegal, disruptive or offensive behaviour.
  • Parents and guardians are responsible for the supervision and behaviour of their children at all times. Guests under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or older to enter the Play Centre.
  • Older children are not permitted to enter the toddler area at any time, not even to supervise younger children.
  • Please supervise your children at all times. Castaway Play staff are not provided to supervise children.
  • Only children under the age of 2 years are allowed in the toddler area with adult supervisor required at all times.
  • Members of staff monitor the play frame and have access to a first aid kit. In the event you have a problem or any concerns, please talk to the manager or a member of staff.
  • If Castaway Play is unable to open, due to circumstances outside of its control, then we will offer an alternative admission date to the same value as your original booking.
  • We reserve the right to close the play frame, slides and remove equipment from use during our trading hours for any reason, without compensation. We will endeavour to inform you of any non-availability of any equipment or facility prior to admission.
  • Please ensure you and your guests park responsibly and safely.
  • Timed 2.5 hour play sessions are sold by Castaway Play.
  • When placing a booking through our booking system, the customer has agreed to the terms and conditions of Castaway Play.
  • Castaway Play are not responsible in the event that the customer selects the wrong play session when booking.
  • An initial non-refundable deposit is required on all Party bookings and general admission reservations – payment must be made in full.
  • Failing to make payment within the requested time for Party bookings (as set out below), will result in the reservation being released from our booking system.
  • ALL Party Room Bookings: A 50% non-refundable deposit is payable at time of booking with the balance payable 5 days before the party day.
  • Final numbers for the party must be confirmed no later than 5 days before the party.
  • All children and adults attending the Party booking must be registered and paid for in advance of the party.
  • If you have not paid the balance 5 days before the party, the party will not go ahead and any deposit will be lost.
  • Once final numbers have been confirmed and paid for, we are unable to offer individual refunds if party guests do not attend on the day.
  • All party bookings will receive an automated confirmation email as soon as the deposit is paid from the Castaway Play Book my Party online booking system.
  • Please check your email including your spam mailbox. If you have not received an email, please contact Castaway Play.
  • If you cancel your booking up to and including the day of the party, we will refund any payments received to date in excess of the non-refundable deposit.
  • If you need to move your party, then this can be done for no charge up to 14 days prior to the day of the party booking.
  • If you need to move your party and it is within 14 days and no later than 72 hours before the party start time, we charge an additional Adjustment Fee of £25.
  • Parties cannot be moved less than 72 hours before the party start time, the party will have to be cancelled and we will refund any payments received to date in excess of the non-refundable deposit amount.
  • All parties that are moved to a new date, can only be moved to a party package that is currently available and will be charged at the advertised rate at the time of the new booking. The payments received to date will be transferred to the new booking as a credit. Standard deposit and payment terms and conditions apply.

  • We allow one adult per child invited to the party. Extra adults and children not invited must be booked in prior to the day.
  • Children are free to enjoy the play facilities under supervision of the accompanying adults. There must be a minimum of 3 adults supervising the party children at all times. Castaway Play recommends 1 adult for every 5 children.
  • All adults should familiarise themselves with Castaway’s Play Policy and the locations of Fire Exits, First Aid Stations and toilets.
  • Please note, older children are not permitted to supervise or play with younger children in the Soft Play Area’s. It is for children aged 2 and under.
  • The Castaway Space Sensory room is only available on a pre booking basis. The use of this room is not included within ANY admission charges.
  • Only food and drinks purchased at Castaway Play can be consumed on the premises.
  • We do not allow customer decorations to be put up in the party rooms. Customers must notify us in advance of the party if they have a special request with regards to the decoration of the party rooms.
  • We do not allow third party entertainers to attend parties at Castaway Play. Customers must notify us in advance of the party if they have a special request.
  • 10 minutes before the end, party children will be required to collect belongings from the party room. Parents must accompany children to reception and exit the building. Children must not re-enter Castaway Play when the party is over unless they re-register for a general admission ticket at the reception and availability allows. Terms and conditions apply.
  • We reserve the right to deny admission, or to require a person already admitted to leave the Centre, without refund, liability or compensation if we consider that the circumstances so require.
  • We reserve the right to discount event prices at any time.
  • By booking a party or general admission ticket at Castaway Play Ltd you are agreeing to the above terms and conditions.
